Re: Passenger Leg Stucked at Rear Wheel of a Bike

Maybe loose clothes, shoe, probably dragged in by the tire
Imagine how frightening that had to be as it probably happened in slow motion for her.

I dare to disagree... That happened so fast, that she didn't even have a clue about it, until she saw, what had happened, while of course, the aftermath of all of this was in such of a slow motion, that her whole life must've been flashed in front of her eyes during that, IN a slo-mo

At first they should lift her and place higher, the exhaust outlet might be hot.

Dismantle that bike is not easy, there are 6 bolts and nuts on both sides, brake lever, sprocket cross bar and 2 dampers. It may take 30 minutes with manual tools.
that kind takes only a little time to detach if you are not panicking.

the centerbolt only needs to have one nut removed and the wheel loosens down.

chaindrive lock can easily be remove with anything and you will be able to pull the wheel off the swing arm and down. (brake drum does not have to be unbolted as it can be pulled out of the hub when you get enough room to do it.

lastly, if the leg went in between the swing arm and the rear shock, removing the lower nut of that shock will do the trick.

i am an under bone motorcycle rider myself and that happened once when we went on a group crosstown ride a few years back.

Re: Passenger Leg Stucked at Rear Wheel of a Bike

and that is why you dont ride in the back of a motorcycle with loose pants and dangling cloth stuffs you wear. anything on that wheel can snag it. tire spikes, wheel spokes, or the chain sprocket.
