It seems to me this was handled very well. Children are more resilient than we give them credit for now his sister will be real to him for the short time he got to see her instead of being only what mom and dad tells him about her. Good job mom and dad.

I would think so, vagabond. It appears they weren't sharing any organs. The twin looks to me to be nothing more than extra flesh with no organs or bones. |

That boy with his sister brought tears to my eyes!  I dont think I can imagine that situation to have been handled in any better way. Atleast this gives the kid some kind of closure, he knew his sister was a human being and the parents have done so well to still show him her and explain it to him instead of just hiding it from him and acting like one minute shes in there and the next shes vanished. Those parents have done a brilliant job of handling that situation in my opinion  |

The second video made me weep. How hard it must have been for the mother to hold it together and be strong to guide her son through the situation despite the grief she must have felt. Bigger, stronger, wiser, kinder. Amazing.

My oldest great niece miscarried before my great niece was born. The great niece somehow turned into she had an older sister who died, but, they never knew what sex the baby was. She sees a dead uncle she never met and her little brother talks to my late middle brother, whom he met twice. He saw something in his former room and told me how my brother was his friend. He saw him a day or two before he died and he was not even 2 at the time. We tell them they are their angels looking over them. |
