It has nothing to do with being "emo" as you said. If you would read the post in its entirety you would see that. I can understand someone not wanting to do this to their own body, sure. But to fault others for what they do with their own body? I don't see the point. I'm rather pierced... lip, nose, various cartilage and lobe, sternum subdermal and a set of inner labia. I also have a tattoo on my back that took about four hours to complete. I asked my 86 year old grandmother before I started body modification if it would be alright with her. Her response was, "Why would what you do to your own body bother me?" Learn from the wisdom of your elders, please. |

There are much more extreme and painful body modification procedures! Just to name a few... tongue splitting, ear pointing and cropping, anal stretching, subincision, full genital splitting, nipplectomy, subdermal implants, voluntary amputation, etc. :) I myself have my tongue split! :) I love body modification! |
