Sorry about that. I've been on fucking antibiotics and pain-killers for over a week. Not that I have a long temper when it comes to people being shitty in the first place. I can understand why people would lie for sympathy I guess but it takes a sad person to do it online and then at that why the fuck would someone lie about a damn dog bite? It's not like getting bitten by your own dogs, even if one's a foster for a rescue, is some manly thing to brag about. |

Yes and I've had him (Roux) over six years. The new foster could very be a sister of his; picked her up from the same area I got him and it's not a common breed down here. It was my fault. They were fighting over a toy, it was early and I wasn't being careful/cautious as I should have been being with a new foster here at the home. Roux always has to let the new one's know who's home it is. ... and yes, it is going to be one sweet scar... "... always look on the bright side of life..." |

I just let my 6 dogs fight and they work it out. They seldom fight anyway, but whenever they do, it's usually because one stepped out of line in the hierarchy. I don't like to interfere with their pack politics. I have never had any of them draw blood either. It usually sounds MUCH more serious than it is. But mine are chihuahuas.  |

That looks bad. I used to work for animal control and a vets office awhile back. I got bit once while I was pregnant by a cat, went right thru the web of my left hand. Hurt like a bitch. Then, when I was at the vet, a cat bit me, Barely bit me, and the vet gave me some god awful antibiotics (they were for large dogs and they were huge!), yet my arm still swelled up and got all icky looking. Wasn't a bad bite at all, but it got all pus filled and just gross. The bite that went all the way thru had less 'gore' to it. Oh well. I ended up quitting the antibiotics on both tho. I hate pills.
