Re: No Idea What Caused His Death, But Looks Odd
Looks like a trauma victim, probably a car wreck...he has a cervical spine brace on, blood everywhere, respirators, IV's in several places....Looks like he may have been disemboweled--perhaps by the seatbelt (happened to my sister in law, and she LIVED!) what happens is when the guts spill out, EMS has to protect them with thick saline soaked dressings, and looks like they used a film over it to keep it all "together" while awaiting emergency surgery. A victim like this must be stabilized 1st before attempting repair. It would be great to know if this guy lived. My husband's sister flipped her SUV (like 5 times, according to witnesses)on an icy freeway in Michigan and the seatbelt sliced open her lower stomach, spilling her bowels all over the seat and her lap. She shattered both legs, and broke her collarbone and shoulder blade. She had NO head injuries. Her 1st responders were a retired doctor, a nurse and a paramedic, how lucky can you be?? And she was fully conscious and coherent the whole time until she was put in the ambulance. In the ER, she was put into an induced coma. They waited to fix her legs until she was stabilized and then did the abdominal surgery, then one leg, then a week later, the other leg. It is a miracle she lived to walk again, and finally had the last of 16 surgeries 6 months ago. She doesn't have a colostomy bag anymore and now is working again as a repsiratory therapist. Modern medicine is so fucking amazing! |
