That's like...the painful version of cross cutting carrots.. (What it reminded me of anyways.)
Probably either was a quick ZZZZZZZ and oshi- ouch.. or...really hurt bad..
I'm pushing for the latter..

It was actually on the lines of.."SHIT" turned off saw and looked at finger, followed by "FUCK IM GOING TO THE DOMINICAN NEXT WEEK" Hurts more now that it's healed because of hypersensitivity. I decided to not feta skin graph because if it failed I would be sensitive in both spots. It's sensitive but it could have been worse.

Re: New Here! *** My Work Accident ***

This sites awesome!!!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone here.
I joined a couple weeks back and have found myself on here quit a bit so I decided to post my little accident for ya guys. I am gonna include some pics from a minor accident I had a work a few months back. I work in a wood shop, and nipped my finger tip on a panel saw. Nothing at all compared to the stuff posted here but these pics are my actual finger. If these are to timid for here I appologize, I just though ya'll might wanna see blood from a DR member.

Hope this thread loads quickly due to my images.
Welcome to the fam

Way to make an entrance

Hmmmm...any stitches involved? As in jam that fucking novocaine needle right into the open LIVE wound!!? That was my situation, but it was the entire pad of my right thumb. Closest I've ever come to clocking a doctor, lol.

Re: New Here! *** My Work Accident ***

Nothing to stitch back with because it's not a cut. I shaved the skin off there. I had the option of getting a skin graph or just leaving it. The plastics guy (surgeon) said that there is a possibility of getting hypersensitivity if I just let it heel on its own, or even from the graph. Skin graphs can take a turn for the worse by making it sensitive in both spots, one being my obvious finger, but secondly in the area in which the skin was taking from. I didn't see the point in a skin graph. So what if my fingers missing a little bit of skin/meat and looks a little funny, doesn't bother me. It is however a bit sensitive with colder weather but that's no biggy!
