Mmmm yummy you gotta love nasty gashes! Could be syphilis as it does some really nasty shit to you in it's final phase...phase 1 itching and or burning sensation - go get it bloody seen to before phase 2 nothing itching and burning stops and all can seem well, as in phew I'm glad that's over I thought I caught be an ....stage 3 ... Your fucked, it has incubated and is ready to rot you inside out... Saw some real nasty and heartbreaking cases in Bosnia in a home for affected women, a lot of whom where from the "opposite side" and used as pleasure providers for the the pix ridden soon to be dead anyway front line troops.....it's sad when you hear a young mother asking you to take her uninfected son away with you as she can let the next ilness she gets due to her HIV infection end her life before the syphilis eats the rest of her face away. It had started to dissolve the soft tissue on her nose and she had lesions on her lips and inside her mouth, her (unqualified) nurse/carer explained that the young womans genitals where so badly "eaten/disolved" the skin between her anus and vagina was gone and gangrene was starting to take hold... Try having to say no you can't help her child and having to walk away leaving a few meagre medical supplies and a thousand cigarettes, not for smoking but bartering with, 2-5 would buy heroin to be used on the worst cases for pain when Morphene wasn't available or was too far diluted by the black marketeers to be any good. 20 cigarettes could by dodgy Morphene for say 4-5 people over a couple of days or enough great quality heroin to last the same for a week, maybe more, just one of the things packed away in my filing cabinet of life.......
