Nasty Leg(s) Fracture when Biker Hit Bumper of Pick-up Truck
The 61 yo driver of the pick up truck suddenly took off from a parking spot near the road so the biker tried to avoid a collision but his left leg hit the bumper/grille of the car causing him to fall. The leg almost got amputated inside the hospital but on the last moment they tried to save the leg and see how the recovery goes. Other leg had several fractures also.    |

I'd be begging to try and save it as well.. didn't look good pre-op though. What's the worst that can happen? End up with a necrotic gangrenous sepsis mess? Then you just hack it off.  End up with a cool nickname..like pirate.. or peg leg.  |

Might have had worse if it weren't for his helmet. Glad they're trying to save his leg. Sounds like that truck driver wasn't paying good attention.
