My Tongue Bifurcation
I've wanted to post this for a while, but I thought it was lost as I could never find it on my facebook and I've had a corrupted hard drive since then. Much to my surprise as yesterday was my 5th anniversary of getting my tongue split, the video showed up in my memories. Anyways, happy to have something to contribute and hope you enjoy. |

Re: My Tongue Bifurcation
Mine went smoother than I imagined. I took off a week from work since I work in retail and wanted to minimize my talking. Day 3 I was able to put french fries in the back of my teeth and carefully eat them without too much tongue movement. Day 4 I could talk, but it still sounded like I had been to the dentist. That's also when I started removing my stitches one set a day. Within a week or so you couldn't even tell the difference as I still talk the same. Slowly worked on moving each half on its own, but still don't have as much movement as I'd like. I just have to practice with it. Eventually I'd like to get my regrowth cut back some to separate it a bit more.
