At least your nail should grow back OK. I ran a drill bit into the end of my thumb up past the knuckle and now my nail grows all fucked up, split, sucks.

OW!! Nail/nail bed injuries are brutal. All those nerves. :( Hope it heals quickly or at least doesn't hurt for too long.

Pics are of my finger 3 weeks after cutting it, 2 months, and now 2 years. The latest one I just took today. There is a slight valley where a chunk of my flesh is gone forever under my nail. And I keep my nail short so you can't tell how much of the nail bed it destroyed. Thanks for looking.
