My Sugery-Nasal Polyp(s) Removed (not the Best Quality)
Chunks of polyps removed from surgery earlier this morning. Sorry for the quality - the nurse or surgical tech that took this didn't do a good job with the autofocus on the camera; only one other pic was taken & it was not any better. Should've had them use my phone instead. There were polyps in my maxillary, ethmoid, sphenoid & front sinus cavities. Have had ongoing sinus infections since last October. The surgery took about an hour and a half. Forgot how many polyps he said he removed as I was still coming out of the anesthesia, but he did say there were several that were as large as his thumb. And I do believe that it's time for another vicodin.... :-)  ·  · |

You're welcome Kelly! Wasn't bad at all; this was the 3rd time I've had them removed. I have severe allergies. Took a little nap, then spent about an hour in recovery & am good to go. The only issue is a sore throat due to the breathing tube. I'll post pics of the scabs & gunk that will come out in a week or so.
