My Self Harm Photos

Over the time Ive collected some pics of wounds that Ive inflicted on myself and while I dont condone self harm and am getting help, I thought they were quite neat.

Re: My Self Harm Photos

thank you. Do you have bpd? thankfully youre getting help. Still a hard road, especially when trauma and stress raise their heads. It does get easier as we get older though, that is true. I wish you well xx

Re: My Self Harm Photos

I'm borderline as well so totally understand self-harm and the different ways it can manifest itself. Not sure whether you know but there is a fantastic therapy called DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) which basically changes your thought process and gives you the skills to help stop the maladaptive behavior that is deeply seeded in BPD minds. I appreciate how hard it is to live day to day with this horrible personality disorder but there is help out there, even if you read and practice some skills from online sources, and there are others that can be there for you. If ever you need a anonymous ear to bend then send me a msg and i'll listen/read/be vented at

Scar tissue needs to be healed a good 2 years before any decent tattooist would try a cover up. Even then the scar tissue can reject ink but as long as you don't want fine detail and there is lots of colours then it can look nice. I'm lucky as i moved on from cutting to other forms of SH that didn't have such a noticeable effect

What other methods? Are they less harmful? (Can PM me) Only asking out of concern - I have had success with CBT/DBT.
