Working in a restaurant kitchen, I know this pain. Have burned the palm of my hand on blue hot stainless steel 18 yrs ago. took a good hunk of it off. Constantly get burned from spattered grease/splashing oil, etc. This looks like you immersed it in hot grease or stuck your hand in boiling water for a few seconds. That definitely hurt a bit... I'd wear warm gloves in the winter, that scar will probably hurt like fuck when it gets cold. |

This happened at my house while having some friends over for dinner. We where using a cooking plate and one of my quests had taken it upon himself to put some cooking oil on the plate which leaked into a small pan under the plate. I took the little pan from under the plate not knowing there was boiling oil in it and threw it accidentaly over my left hand. The pain was...painfull. I remember trying to place my mind into one of my guests just to dull the pain. Did not work. Went to the hospital on my scooter making use of the wind cooling the burn. Once in the hospital it took them a while to help me, after I showed them my hand they let me in and helped me.
