Re: My Raynaud's Disease~It's Getting Worse
I'm not making light of your situation, but, isn't it odd that your second toes aren't as affected as the others? I wonder why that is. I hope you have gotten to a doctor and you are on the way to recovery soon. You can alway go to an ER. We chatted a long time ago <3 |

Re: My Raynaud's Disease~It's Getting Worse
Oh heck Diamond, I would NEVER think you're making light of anything, you're one of the most straight up people here and I always enjoy reading what you post. I can't explain why it seems to affect different areas in such an extreme way, nor can I explain why it's sometimes my feet and not my hands or vice versa. The very first time I experienced this was just less than 6 years ago and it was both my feet. That was a horrible experience, they both went 'black' like real frost bite. The 3 pics below are from the internet. The black tipped fingers are NOT frostbite, they are Raynaud's, very much like my feet went the first time, only it was both of my feet from toes to ankles. |

Re: My Raynaud's Disease~It's Getting Worse
Thank you, Angel, on both counts :) I have no medical background, but, it seems odd that it skips parts of the same finger or toe and leaves the skin its normal color. Are there circulation issues involved? Do your fingers and toes feel cold when they darken? I'm a curious person. It's both interesting and I'm sure very frustrating to you and anyone else afflicted. I'd be creeped out if I changed colors and I never knew whether or not it would change overnight. |

Re: My Raynaud's Disease~It's Getting Worse
i am so sorry you are going through this. I have a mild case of Raynaud's. I am 37 and have a disease that is rare called CREST Syndrome and Raynaud's is one of the 5 diseases in this acronym. I do hope you are able to at least get some comfort soon.
