Re: My Purdy Ears
My industrial did this about 18 months after having it pierced. It went away on its own. Not sure exactly how long it took, probably around a year? I would just leave it and see what happens. Keep cleaning it and take ibuprofen for the swelling.

Re: My Purdy Ears
Well. Update again. :P I was prodding it (like normal, because I can't keep my hands away from it) and popped the bubble. There was blood running down my ear. It was awesome. But it's pretty much gone now. *shrug* I guess it was just unhappy with me for a while. Not a big deal. I'll post a picture later, probably. :)

Re: My Purdy Ears
Ouch that looks angry! Hope you can heal it! I love industrials, theyre my fav. I knew a girl who had hers for 3 years and then it randomly infected and refused to heal so she had to take it out. Sad day. I've had mine for 3 1/2 years and its still going strong no problems ever, you know, except for the year it took to initially heal. Lol. When it was healing, it started to get keloids and I decided I wasnt havin a bar of that, so cut them off with a razor blade. Haha. Emostylez. Jokes. Emos are gross. But yeah, I figured while it was still healing and usually I awoke with caked blood around the holes anyways (yummy) may as well. I would definitely not recommend that, even though it worked for me, as it could easily get infected and even worse. This is mine, the day after it was pierced, hence the angry redness and swelling. And what it looks like these days, stupid hair caught around the top. Ahhh well. I love my industrial, and I hope yours gets better, keep it clean! <3 |
