Re: My Premature Baby
My daughter was born under almost identical circumstances. My water broke at 25 weeks and she was delivered at 29 weeks because I became septic. She was 2lb 5oz and stayed in the hospital for 45 days. She was over a week old before I got to hear her cry. I could see her crying, but it was silent because of the vent. I’ll try to attach a picture and the video of the first time she cried out loud after she was extubated. |

Re: My Premature Baby
Here’s the first time I heard her cry, her little foot prints and the other one is her and her Irish Twin, recently. She’s the one on the left. They were born Jan & Dec 2014. http://https://imgur.com/gallery/hOwQUtg |

Re: My Premature Baby
I was born right at the start of my mom's 24th week (her cervix failed in a spectacular fashion). I was one pound eleven ounces, 13" long. As mom was a nurse she convinced my neonatologist I was robust enough to be discharged on my original due date, and I was. I turned 40 in April. COVID ruined my birthday plans. |
