My Mom's Aneurysm
My mom was being treated for pneumonia when they discovered a blockage in her heart. So they proceeded to place a stint in her heart through the artery in her groin. It's been a nightmare ever since.

Re: My Mom's Aneurysm
Omg, that looks painful, and terrifying. poor lady. Did the medical facility fuck something up, or was this a legitimate risk (of that procedure)? |

Re: My Mom's Aneurysm
They can't say for sure, but it seems they are covering their asses for not taking my mom off blood thinners before having this surgery. The last picture is today while.my brother was changing her bandages. He's doing such a good job with it.

Re: My Mom's Aneurysm
Jesus, the bruising is bad enough but topping it off with necrosis at the entry site is the diarrhea icing on the shit cake. Your poor mom. I hope she's feeling better and gets discharged soon.

Re: My Mom's Aneurysm
My mom is a walking medical issue. Also I'm not exactly sure about the blockage. It was a rather sudden thing. She was already admitted for the pneumonia. The heart blockage was discovered and surgery within the hour. Oh, shes 56. |
