My Husband's Eye After Cataract Removal Surgery (age Thirty).
My husband has absolutely shit eyes. His right eye is completely blind now, after multiple retinal detachments. He has a very unusual combination: he heals too fast, and produces too much scar tissue, so the retina detached over and over again in the right eye. When he was thirty, he was diagnosed with cataracts. All of this shit is extremely rare in someone so young. The one in his blind eye is still there, but he had surgery to remove the cataract from the left eye. Here are a couple post-op pics, it looked like that for a couple of weeks! |

And this is what his right eye looks like now. He hates it, but I reckon it looks pretty fucking badass. One day it will collapse in on itself and will need to be replaced with a glass (or other artificial) eye.

I work for an eye doctor. And I'll have to tell you, I've never heard of this happening. That really sucks. Tell him to hang in there
