Re: My Hubby's Leg (possible Spider Bite?)
Very possibly it is MRSA and you need to see a DR. MRSA starts out feeling like a bite and then progresses to that. I have had it twice now and it does not usually go away on its own. I still remember both infections. The first was after dirt bike riding with my girlfriend. I was on my bike and felt what I thought was a bite. We got back to the cabin and she looked at it and it looked like a zit and then it got worse over the next 3 days and was bigger than that. Dr gave me bactrim for 10 days and pain killers and it went away. It came back 3 months later in two places. |

Re: My Hubby's Leg (possible Spider Bite?)
One more thing if it is mrsa you need to use hibiclens for about a week every time he showers and there is a ointment called bactoban that you apply inside the nose twice a day otherwise it will probably be back in a month or two. Dr's missed it the first time. Also keep it covered as it can be transmitted.
