Re: My Hubby's Leg (possible Spider Bite?)

Ew, wigs, that looks like an infection for sure....but the white spot....uh THAT looks like a grub or some other foreign body. Tell him to stop squeezing it...that casues more local tissue trauma. The docs will *extract the pus* by irrigating...and maybe other unmentionable methods. Yucky!

It's not a grub, it's skin or flesh that has turned mushy.

Whatever it is, it's very infected, so he should see a doctor asap

Don't want it turning into something like this:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KR4GEyMfdr4&amp;hl=en_GB&amp;fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KR4GEyMfdr4&amp;hl=en_GB&amp;fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Re: My Hubby's Leg (possible Spider Bite?)

Saturday he felt a prickly in his leg, this is his leg today, he has been squeezing puss out of it since sunday.

Yeah finally my own REAL gore pic
I would go to a doctor if you haven't already. I don't think a brown recluse spider is in the Great North but if by chance it was it will continue to get worse.

Either way it needs medical attention. Best of luck to him.

Re: My Hubby's Leg (possible Spider Bite?)

It is badly infected, the doc can't tell if it was a bite because obviously the small hole it would have caused it no longer a small hole. He has to take meds.
