Re: My Horrifying Toes, and a Giant Pimple
Anti-biotic cream and or try the Hemp foot cream from the Body Shop...but i think there is a bit of infection there so oral anti-biotics BUT remember if you have to take ANTI-biotic medication remember to also take some PRO-biotics too (Yakult type mini-drinks or yogurts) to help keep that balance in your body. Remember the anti-biotics are indiscriminate and kill off not only the ones causing the problem but the good little fella's too so show them the love and help them out! :) I hope you find out what it is as feet can drive you mad - I know as I have had an open sore on my big toe for well over 6 months that just wont heal and I couldn't work out why. I was recently diagnosed as having Seratonin Syndrome due to the concoction of meds I have been on for over 6 years and it can slow or stop healing. I am coming off the morphine patches (Fentanyl) as I cannot carry on being this ill all the time. |

Re: My Horrifying Toes, and a Giant Pimple
I think you have Reynaud's. It seems to affect people seasonally and there are things you should pay attention to to reduce the symptoms. It's basically something that affects the extremeties. I thought this thread might stir some recognition. Anyway, no expert but check it out. http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Dermato...rs/show/377486 |

Re: My Horrifying Toes, and a Giant Pimple
I don't have a medical background, but, I'd get them checked. I'm guessing circulation issues. As we get older, sadly, what once went away quickly can linger on and on and on... I'd go to a dermatologist for the pimple after one try draining it myself with a sterile needle/pin and some triple antibiotic failed. You know what can happen! I noticed you were back, too! |

Re: My Horrifying Toes, and a Giant Pimple
Maybe strange advice but it really works: Try to pee a couple of times over your feet. I've had these problems for years (especially in the winter) and nothing helped. One day, my grandmother gave me this advice. It worked like hell! Never had any problems with it since. |
