So for like, god knows how many years, I've had this huge wart on my left middle finger. I can't remember how long I've had it. it's right below the nail where I get cuts very often, so early on I thought it was scar tissue. I once had a small wart on my thumb which never returned after being cut with nail clippers, so I didn't think much of it when it returned after trying this.

it wasn't until I looked more closely, and noticed that it was a cluster of small growths, that I realized it was actually a wart. it is very sensitive, and sometimes when you look closely you can see the telltale black dots (those are bad blood vessels which supply blood to the wart).

ANYWAY, I've cut parts of it off and had them grow back many times. I've put off going to the doctor because I know they'll maim me. I'm too cheap to buy compound W, but I've finally started to win this battle. how? I put a bandaid on it. lately I've been tightly wrapping it with duct tape in order to suffocate it (it was beginning to flatten), but the real breakthrough came when I left a bandaid on it overnight. wart looked normal going to bed and when I took it off, parts were totally flat and scabbed-looking. I've been keeping it wrapped in something as much as I can (it sometimes hurts), as well as covering it in wax which feels really good. for the first time ever, the wart is actually getting better. I can tell I'm getting somewhere because the scabbed parts are totally painless!

I just peeled off a large portion of this "dead" wart and will take pictures of that tomorrow. that shit was satisfying as fuck. I'm kicking myself in the ass for not stopping to take pictures during the process. these pictures are from a few days ago. enjoy my gross wart and horrible cuticles.

I've never had one but my sister had lots when she was little. I remember compound-W working for her.

I cannot bite my nails. I just can't!

Never had a wart, but, one of my teenage nieces did. It was awful; a curly weird thing. I think she used Compound W to freeze it off.
