Re: My Experience with Necrotizing Fasciitis
Glad you saw it through the other side. I thought the 4th pic was red panties. I've endured a lot in my life, but seeing that puts my kidney and gallstones, my sepsis, and lots of major orthopedic surgery to shame. I got lucky the last time I was in the ICU. I had a positive swab for MRSA after they put an IV in. I won't complain again after seeing what you went through. You are very strong. I hope you don't ever have to suffer like that again. Thank you for posting. Were there any other signs or symptoms of the pending explosive infection? I've had cellulitis before and used the marker trick on myself after it seemed like it was getting bigger. It was.

Re: My Experience with Necrotizing Fasciitis
Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. It certainly was a horrific ordeal, and I’ve never been the same since. And 24 years later, I still have pain, numbness, flashbacks, nightmares, PTSD, and a general fear every time I’m in a hospital—which unfortunately, is quite often as I’ve experienced a whole list of other health issues over the years. Just last week, I had ANOTHER MRI of my brain & Cervical spine, and need to go back for bloodwork to test for Fabry Disease. I’ve already had 4 mini strokes & 1 full blown stroke, Lipid Myopathy (my body stores fat in my muscles), tendinitis, Achilles Tendinitis, arthritis in my neck, spinal stenosis, SEVERE & constant tinnitus, and several more various neurological problems like weakness, numbness, & burning in all 4 extremities. I have pain SOMEWHERE in my body 24/7 since about 2004. I’ve had more tests and appointments and doctors and hospital stays since 2015 than I could even remember to try and figure out why this is all happening to me. I’m so tired of it all. Hopefully soon I’ll have some answers.
