My Disgusting Case of Strep Throat
Ok so I Have not posted here in awhile but last week I had strep throat and I was curious of what it looked like back there so I used my phone to take a pic.... well was shocked as the days went on and disgusted at what my throat was breeding. I went to the ED and was prescribed Amoxicillin day one was not so bad some pus on tonsils day two I woke up with a thick scab like coating of pus on my tonsils which was horrifying to see but wasn't as painful as days 3 and 4 day 3 I was in the bathroom gargling warm saltwater trying to find some relief and I felt a chunk in my mouth I had dislodged a scab I immediately spit it out and of course had to examine it I should have taken a picture it was not a tonsil stone but a thick membrane that was grey and fleshy in appearance. Then I gargles some more an another huge piece came out I was happy it had come off. Well the next day hell began my tonsils were covered in canker sores thankfully by day 7 I felt much better. I decided to show these pictures although embarrassing for peoples enjoyment  The last photo is my now healed tonsils

that is awful. BTW you have a very strange uvula, not that I'm making fun. I just recently had strep throat symptoms and was also horrified to see what my throat/tonsils looked like. they were red and swollen and at one point, they had a couple white sores like in your last picture. you must have had very bad strep throat.

LOL it is funny looking I agree! haha It was horrible and I can tell you my Hubby still is scared to kiss me after showing him the back of my throat. It was a horrid case of strep I have had strep before and this was definitely worse.
