My Cyst Removal. (post-op)

So May 20th I had a Ruptured Dermoid cyst removed from the back of my neck, It was causing abcesses along the crease of my neck, I have picture from the daily healing (i don't actually have a picture of the cyst before it was removed). They decided that since it was infected they would leave The wound open And let it heal from the inside out which included daily packing and bandage changes, This is my first post I hope you enjoy my Neck hole ;)

May 20th (day of surgery)

May 23rd (personal favorite set of photos)
these just look the grossest and make my heart sing, This was after my first shower Which was probably the most painful thing about this whole thing The black you will see is going to be pooling blood and the yellow is from Cauterize they used.

Re: My Cyst Removal. (post-op)

Talk about a coincidence, I had the same procedure done on 6/3/2014, but don't have any pics though. But I feel for you, it's a long process. Good luck at your next doctors visit.

It goes from looking like a cyst, to an eyeball, to a vagina.

Re: My Cyst Removal. (post-op)

I work with a guy that has a huge one of those in the same place. He has had it for a few years and apparently has no plans to have it removed. We call him "speed bump."
