My Broken Ankle
Photo of initial swelling about an hour after in A&E and photo roughly 4 days later when I had the first cast removed and another one put on. Did this playing netball, I jumped to catch the ball and landed sideways on my ankle, tried to right myself and just ended up going further over on it... bad and painful times... |

Re: My Broken Ankle
Thanks for sharing. That does look nasty. Ouch! I remember years ago we were playing 'rounders' at school and one of the girls fell over. Her shin bone snapped. We all heard this really loud crack and down she went. I was sooo jealous of her at the time because she ended up with a cast and a few weeks off school! Yeah, I know. I didn't even think about the pain she went through. I just thought the after effects were fun! Oh and I also remember how thin her leg was compared to the uninjured one, when she had the cast removed. I wasn't so jealous then! |
