When I had disc replacement surgery in 2007, I was in the neuro unit for almost a week at Orlando Regional in Florida. They were fantastic, except for the 2nd night when it was time to switch out my PCA (my pain med pump that I controlled..... every FIVE minutes!!!!). It took 45 minutes from the pharmacy to me and I was out of morphine.... this was the worst pain of my life, so I'm feeling for you here, brother!! I was only 27 when I had it done, but I was on a walker for about 3 months. Speedy recovery!!

Tyvm I'm walking really well and I'll be able to drive in another 2 weeks, I'm going back to school at 41, I have a meeting in the adult education centre next Monday so I'm hoping to get back to work early next year innit |
