Mrsa Infection

MRSA infection on my right arm… yes I had an open hole for a few days… I also wanted to share how the wound looks now.

*not my words.

Re: Mrsa Infection

I wonder if it would have made a noise if you blew over top of it, like a soda bottle. Too late to try now I guess…

Not gonna lie. I'd be sticking my pinky finger in there to see if it tickled.

Re: Mrsa Infection

Had to look it up…

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is an infection of Staphylococcus (staph) bacteria. Staph infections can cause bumps, sores, and blisters on the skin.

There was more but this paragraph gave the needed info..

You are very welcome. And a happy Friday to you as well!

My wife had MRSA after surgery. It did not go well. She fought it for a year, the infectious disease doctor said, "We've tried every antibiotic we have at our disposal but one. If this last one doesn't work, and I'm not kidding about this, we may want to consider palliative care measures." Luckily, that last one worked. Vancomycin.
If that one didn't work, we had already made arrangements for her to receive bacteriophage treatments in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Damn. That’s a story. I’m really glad it worked out for her, you and the entire rest of your family.

That’s some serious stuff man… damn

Whew, I’m glad that story had a good ending to it, sincerely.

Thank you for sharing today…

For whatever it’s worth here’s a short version of some of my story as well as our OP. We were chatting the other day~

As humans, and, at our ages, we all have a few to tell. Judging by your username and avatar you might have one or two fast stories to tell…

Re: Mrsa Infection

Most MRSA cases are caught in hospitals. My doctor said if you're sick, the worst place to be is at a hospital
