MSRA (staph infection) is mainly contracted in a hospital/long-term care facility. Untreated, it's contagious. We would have to don PPE any time we entered the room. Once antibiotic treatment begins, after a couple of days, they are no longer contagious and begin getting better. |

I wonder how far it tunneled in. I've dealt with post-op staph and a staph infection in my hand that tunneled pretty gnarly. Skin around the infection center dies and turns hard, like a callous, cut it away and can't feel any of it because it's all dead... This fella didn't get meds shortly after these pics? he'll be missing a chunk of it in no time. |
