Motorcyle VS Deer
On July 5th 1:30AM, I was traveling on 337 about a half a mile from junction Hwy 16 and 337 in Medina, a big fucking deer with six points jumped out in front of me. Stupid, yeah, I know. Riding that late on a full moon with deer running around all over the place, but occasionally I do have my stupefied and completely moronic moments. This was most definitely one of them where complacency ruled and I paid a painful price.

Injuries:
  • Broken left hand and wrist
    Lacerations to left fingers (13 stiches)
    3 broken fingers on right hand
    4 broken ribs
    Road rash all over that required 3 surgeries.
    Left sprained ankle
    Deep wounds on right knee
    Deep wound on right forearm

I was wearing my $700 Shoei full face helmet and now need another one. The helmet saved my life.
