They crush the pills up and mix it with water to inject. the problem is that the pills aren't fully soluble so small particles start to clog up capillaries cutting off blood flow in the extremities.
What's fucked up is that it's no secret that doing this will (literally) cost you an arm and a leg....but they do it anyway.
