More Anorexia Pics
I hope these aren't reposts. My sister had this eating disorder back in the 1970's. Fortunately she snapped out of it with the threat of hospitalization. I think for her it was mostly a control issue, but in my eyes it's an extreme form of body modification via starvation, as well as a very slow suicide. Trouble is, the people with the disorder don't realize it.

That's what's so weird about this disorder. The people who have it think they look perfectly normal. In fact, some of them look in the mirror and still see "fat" that needs to be lost. It's amazing what the mind can make our realities become.
