Exactly, because when they finally come down, they sleep hard for days sometimes, breathing through their mouth, keeping the teeth dry. Combine that with the drug chemicals itself, poor diet and hygiene, and blam, you have Meth Mouth!

People seem to not understand that. My uncle is a meth addict and when he first started he was crazy about oral hygiene because he thought that was the root cause of this. Didn't work though, he has no teeth now.

Long time tweakers think they "see" and/or "feel" bugs under their skin and they try to dig them out. In many cases this is the cause for all of the scabs and sores on their bodies. |
