MAKASSAR.SIJI.OR.ID- Makassar, - On Tuesday, September 24, 2004 at around 17.20 WITA, there was a case of assault against a woman named Siti Syamsiah, 64 years old, a housewife, Jalan Tinumbu, Lorong 148, Number 83, Layang Village, Bontoala District, Makassar City, carried out by the victim's own child (the perpetrator) who has a mental disorder, named pr.sarniaty, 39 years old, Jalan Tinumbu, Lr 48 C, No. 63, and as a result of the assault, the victim suffered a broken bone on her left wrist, a broken bone on her right elbow, an open wound on her left cheek to her ear, an open wound on her forehead, 2 open wounds on her right arm, and the victim received treatment at the Navy Hospital.

At around 17.25 WITA, members of the Bontoala Police led by the Bontoala Police Chief arrived at the scene of the assault that occurred on Jalan Tinumbu LR 148 C. When they arrived at the scene, members immediately secured the perpetrator and evidence of 1 machete and took the victim to the Navy Hospital.

From the victim's statement, he explained that the victim reprimanded his child (the perpetrator) to do one housework, namely cleaning the house, but the perpetrator who had a mental disorder did not accept the victim's reprimand so the perpetrator immediately took the goods and then abused the victim, his own biological mother, by fighting the victim repeatedly so that the victim suffered torn and open wounds on several parts of his body.

According to the statement of the perpetrator's father, namely a judge, the perpetrator, who is his first child, has long suffered from mental disorders and often gets angry and goes berserk in the house so that he and his wife always give in to their children.

The case of abuse that occurred on Jalan Tinumbu, Lorong 148, which resulted in the victim suffering several serious injuries, was carried out by the victim's own child, where the perpetrator had suffered from mental disorders (diabetes) for a long time.

The perpetrator and the victim live in the same house and the perpetrator often gets angry and goes berserk when reprimanded by his parents, where the incident of abuse was triggered because the perpetrator's twin was reprimanded by his parents (the victim).
