Current drug treatments are generally unsatisfactory; available medications are highly toxic and often ineffective, particularly those used to treat the chronic stage of the disease. Scary  You hardly ever realize what's out there. These bugs hide in the ceilings/similar areas, come out at night and feast on human faces. When they're done eating, they shit near where they ate. When people wake up and scratch, the bacteria invades their cells and causes a whole mess of problems.
