Marbling skin syndrome is a rare congenital disease, vascular pathology. First described in 1970 in the USA, less than 200 cases have been reported worldwide since then. The causes of the onset, the course of the disease and possible complications have been studied very little. The rarity of this disease makes any predictions extremely difficult.

The closest I've seen is lightning strikes. I thought they always looked so pretty.

Yeah, I know exactly what you are talking about Kimmie. I think that is probably because it is isolated and just follows the path the lightening took. In dead people, the smoothness still makes it pretty, to me. This is honestly just nasty looking.
