Poor guy. His story is all too familiar for that time period. I'd love to have seen what Drs could have pulled off this day and age. Glad he didn't die a virgin.
quite an easy fix. He was born with an encephalocele and a cleft lip, with more thank likely a cleft palate. His midline tessier defect could be repaired today in the months following his birth.
The pics are of a child with the same condition before and after the repair.
