Reminds me of Phineas Gage, that famous man who was in an accident that sent a steel pole through the front of his head and basically lobotomised him. Before the accident he was known to be soft-spoken and mild-mannered, but according to almost everything I've read he pretty much turned into an asshole afterwards.
