Re: Man Removes Lump From Forearm In Self Surgery
It looks like a lipoma, which is basically just a fatty tumor right under the skin. I had one next to my navel ring last year. I could roll the lump around just like guy in video. It started to get tender so I went to the doc. (Side note: LOL I have military insurance and love it) He excised it in the same manner as video guy, but first he injected Lidocaine. He wasn't going to biopsy. He said if it looks and feels like a fatty tumor, it is a fatty tumor. I insisted that he do the biopsy, which came back as a "Lipoma". Wish I would have thought to take photos or video. Here's a pic of a lipoma I found on wikipedia · |

Re: Man Removes Lump From Forearm In Self Surgery
You forget that a lot of other countries don't suffer from obesity like our country does, and aren't as spread out. Laziness and fattening food can do a lot to shorten peoples' lives. And people still come here from other countries to get treated. Not saying our health care is perfect, but socialization is not the way to go. |

Re: Man Removes Lump From Forearm In Self Surgery
The guy is an idiot. He went through all that for a fatty tumor. They are called lipomas and are harmless. And no ones health insurance would probably cover it because it would be considered a cosmetic surgery. LAME
