Jointed pic of all 4 faces; josh the donor, Richard, old face, destroyed face, and wearing Josh's donated face.

Fantastic job, he looks fairly normal now. Doubt you'd even notice if you walked past him on the street.

I know, unbelievable, right? A team of 150 medical experts/surgeons/doctors and nurses, and a 36 hour surgery.

It is mentioned that his face does not move like a normal face, it's mask like, frozen. I think it's amazing how far he has come.

Re: Man Models His Face Transplant in Magazine

I think the video of his story is on here. It was been televised a few times. They use the closed captioning because he was hard to understand the last time I heard him.

It is amazing what they can do now.

This is not the one I wanted, but, over a year ago speaking.

What's so amazing is the risk. I read in the other article the head surgeon (Rodriguez?) said that if it rejected, he was basically dead. In other words, you can't go back. The other face is gone, mutilated beyond repair.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to come off like I thought you didn't know. I was just discussing...thought whoever else came across it would like to know. :(:(
