Man with Knife in Head After Attempted Robbery
In an attempted robbery, a man identified as Sw had a knife stuck in his head. The crime happened in Strand, near Cape Town, South Africa. The victim not only survived the attack, but also rose from the ground where he was left to die and, on his bicycle, went to a medical post to be attended to. In the health unit the man received the first calls and was sent to another hospital, where he remains hospitalized for observation. According to information from The South African website , Sw was on his way to work, riding his bike when he was attacked by an uninformed number of suspects, who tried to steal him on Tuesday morning (20). Sw was stabbed on the left side of his head by the assailants, who left him to die. The case is being investigated by the Strand police station.  · |

One of our female doctors was on duty and she was called to a patient with a knife wound. To say it was dramatic to see him with a knife sticking out of the side of his head was an understatement but he was very calm and lucid although bleeding a lot. He asked very politely if we had a doctor free to see him. The doctor decided that rather than wait for an ambulance she would drive him to hospital in her car herself and he asked if it was OK to leave his bike with us. The patient was very lucky in that although the knife was plunged into his skull it bent on impact with the bone and the blade went down his face outside the skull. He was very very lucky that the blade hit him in the wrong spot to kill him. He fought for his bike back and rode to us as he knew where we were and we are his GP and when he got here he just walked in and calmly asked for help. This is not something that happens every day and it seems it is a violent gang who have struck viciously a few times in the last few weeks and they will be caught. It was not even an expensive bike and is one he cycles on to and from work each day. Why they used the level of violence they did is just beyond me. A spokesman confirmed he was "stable" |

South Africa used to be one of the safest countries in the world and most prosperous in Africa. It was pretty much uninhabited and built up by the Dutch and later British. Then Africans moved onto the land and claimed they had a right to the property and everything the Dutch and British built from scratch. The leaders of South Africa were foolish to give in. Democracy is just mob. High levels of crime, violence, poverty and problems whether it is in Haiti, South Africa, Brazil, detroit, or Oakland. South Africa now is poor economically and has some of the highest crime rates in the world. A genocide is being committed against the Whites and white farmers. South Africa should have been split in two with whites in Cape Town where they can have freedom and self determination and be safe from crime and violence.
