Horses can really put a hurtin' on you if they've a mind to. I saw a photo one time where a guy got his chest caved in when a horse bucked backward. He died. The guy. Not the horse.  |

I have a lovely scar on my chest from when a horse got to feeling peckish and bit me. Horses can be real buggers sometimes.

A relative of mine was kicked and killed by a horse. In the 20's I think.

That guy is so lucky, horses usually have pretty good aim. I know of a few people who have been kicked in the head or in the chest and they were killed. You don't want to be doing something stupid when you're around a horse, they react really fast.
