Re: Man Has Leg Condition Doctors Are Unsure About
He makes mention of chicken pox to reassure us it isn't that... Maybe he hopes it is shingles? He needs an infectious disease doctor.. probably some kind of parasites.. |

Re: Man Has Leg Condition Doctors Are Unsure About
it seems like a serious case of 'lichen planus'. This auto immune disease has got no sure as such and medical science has not yet found out the reason behind why this happens, but the hives so go away when you apply dipsalic-F or other makes of the same contents, tacrovate, and take anti-histamines like atarax. Also ensure that you dont use bathing soap over these and dont scratch them over and over. Use hot water to clean the hives and apply the ointment as said above and make sure that you keep them dust free. Note : this is from my experience, but donot forget to consult a dermatologist. |

Re: Man Has Leg Condition Doctors Are Unsure About
My SIL just had some type of parasite infection from wading in Lake Mead. I was talking to my bro about it who didn't give all the detail but it sounded like itchy, pus filled sores that were spreading up the leg. Some doctor said immediately it was a parasite from the water and treated her with something. Don't know what. Maybe he should try that angle.
