Had it been a 12ga it would have been worth posting...that looks to be either .410 as mentioned or small calliber rifle/handgun damage.Anything high powered would have shattered his foot and done some serious trama at that close range.
knew a dumbass once that shot self in foot w a .22 in attempt to kill himself....no kidding....we all tell him he just wsnt attention and if really wanna die put barrel of his dads 30-06 in his mouth and pull trigger....No fail certain death then.
