Those are two different hands on two different people and both still have their hands. The bottom one is an easy fix and the top one if they have the missing thumb and index finger could also be fixed. Even if they don't he should still be able to use the remaining fingers with a skin graft to cover the wound. I have seen surgeons fix much worst cases than these. Still that must hurt like hell and looking at your hand in that shape must be horrifying.  |

Thank you for the clarification. Thought I was looking at the left hand of one person in the first picture and the right hand of a different person in the second  |
