That's interesting... &Not good. An airborne infection could easily reach the meninges. Worse is if the man goes swimming and water reaches the cranial cavity through this pathway... I believe his right temporal bone was fractured in a way that allows the eustachian tube to reach the cranial cavity uninterrupted. |
