The night before I went in for my first c-section I watched a medical show on medical mistakes. Leaving instruments in people, and people not going completely under. They gave me a spinal block that is suppose to stop feeling from the tits down. (On me, that's what is was suppose to do) When the "good" doctor thought I was numb enough, he took a needle and stuck me with it several times. I proceeded to tell him exactly where he was gouging me with the needle. His face turned white and they morphined me up. Thank God, I could tell him that I could feel it. I would have hate to have been cut in half and feel it. It was worth it though. With that being said, I was horrified after watching the medical show the night before. Kind of like watching Final Destination the night before a long flight... |

i woke up during an operation. i didn't feel any pain...but it was a shock and i will never forget it! my fault 'cause i did not tell the doc that i was addicted to morphium.
