No, canines go for the throat too. They are predators that take down prey by the vital areas. Did you see the pictures of the guy who got his throat torn out by a dog he had recently taken in? |

If that's all the damage they did to him, he got off easy. Rotts are one of the few breeds that can turn pitbulls into hamburger without batting an eye. The bigger the dog, the bigger the jaw muscle, the stronger the bite. There's more than a few dogs bigger than a Pit Bull that can tear you apart. Gives me the shudders even thinking about being in a situation like that. I was also surprised at how little damage there was on the dude. It must have been interrupted pretty quick. You really can't last very long in that situation, without a powerful weapon.  |
