Re: Man Assaults Wife, Wife's Brothers Express Their Disappointment
It's definitely extreme...but also keep in mind, these guys are probably extremely protective brothers and their culture I think is pretty strong when it comes to family. It's never okay to harm a woman like that, but sheesh, I'm glad my brother didn't do that to the guy who was abusive to me...it's overkill a bit. At least he won't ever do it again! =P |

Re: Man Assaults Wife, Wife's Brothers Express Their Disappointment
We don't know how badly he assaulted the female. I've seen the aftermath of several assaults from domestic abuse and I can tell you the I feel that in some cases, that sort of punishment is appropriate. Some males will never learn even after serving prison.

Re: Man Assaults Wife, Wife's Brothers Express Their Disappointment
I'm sure the abuse shelters would be empty if this was an exacting punishment in DV cases, huh?!?! Hey, Shaz, back in the 90's here in America, there was this infommercial for a knife called a Ginsu that would "cut through anything".....wonder if the brothers got their hands on a couple of those????? |
