Maggot therapy works well for people with diabetic ulcers. I'm pretty sure I've seen this photo on a site about medical maggots. Since they only eat dead tissue, there is no pain as they munch away on you, or so they say...

yeah they were i remember seeing this on tv they have like gang green on there foot and the maggots were there to eat the dead flesh.
